I’ve been back and forth all day on the idea of posting something on what I’m thankful for. I kept asking myself why this would be interesting to people. In the end, I’m not sure who it will be interesting to but I decided it’s important as well as meaningful to put things like this in print. So at the risk of being cheesy and a little obvious, here’s my thanksgiving ‘what I’m thankful for’ list…
1. Kristi. That’s an easy one. She’s the best thing about me. She’s my conciseness and compass, my heart, my inspiration, my home, and (my favorite part!) my wife.
2. Dakota. Sure she smells, but’s she’s been my constant companion here in the office during hours upon hours upon hours upon hours of editing this year.
3. Mi Familia. I have a great family, I just wish I got to see them more. This year I’ve been blown away by the amazing people my brother and sisters are becoming.
4. Friends. We have such wonderful friends. Thanks for your commitment and all the effort during our incredibly busy, hectic, and somewhat unpredictable year. Thanks for the leaving messages when we can’t answer, showing up when we can’t get out, inviting us when we don’t make plans, and most of all for sticking around!
5. My Clients. Thank you for sharing your important moments with us! So many of you are more friends than you are clients. I can’t thank you enough.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
