I was impressed with Austin and Brittany, who now live in Southern California and have grown accustomed to the pleasant weather. They were brave in the face of Colorado’s fresh snow, 20 degree and below temperatures, and rapidly dropping sun during our session.
Yet even in the midst of such terrifying and bitter cold, the Colorado sun bouncing through the trees and reflecting off the snow makes for a beautiful backdrop.
We kept our pace up, trying to get as much done as we could before the numbness and runny noses set in. Austin pulled his weight, keeping Brittany laughing and doing his best to keep her warm.
I’m so excited for their wedding this fall up in the mountains of Vail at the fantastic Piney River Ranch. It sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun, a lot of dancing, and maybe even a little warmer outside.
